  Segnung der jungen Familien.\n\nAm Vorabend des Dyarnentaratsch laden wir
  unsere Gemeinde zur feierlichen Abendandacht vor der Hl. Kreuz Kirche in 
 Bartenbach ein. Im Anschluss des Gottesdienstes werden die jungen Familien
  gesegnet. Danach wird im Hof der Kirche ein Lagerfeuer angezündet\, mit 
 armenischen Liedern\, Tänzen und Süßigkeiten.\n\nDyarnentaratsch\, so w
 ird der Fest DARSTELLUNG DES HERRN IM TEMPEL genannt\, wird genau am 40. T
 ag nach dem armenischen Weihnachtsfest (6. Januar)\, am 14. Februar\, gefe
 iert.\n\nAm Abend des 13. Februar werden die Gläubigen in die Kirche eing
 eladen\, um den vorabendlichen Andacht beizuwohnen und das wahre Licht der
  Welt\, den Herrn Jesus Christus\, zu lobpreisen. Während der Andacht zü
 nden die Anwesenden an der Altarkerze ihre Kerzen an\, bringen diese Kerze
 n nach Hause\, womit die Festfeuer in den Höfen angezündet werden.\n\nDi
 e in der Kirche angezündeten Kerzen stellt man dann als Symbol des lebend
 igen Lichtes Jesu Christi in den Wohnungen bzw. Häusern auf. Diese Kerzen
  brennen die ganze Nacht\, damit überall das Licht und die Weisheit über
 wiegen und die Dunkelheit und die Verwirrungen sich entfernen.\n\n[/fusion

 gs über das Feuer. Bereits aus der vorchristlichen Zeit kommt der Brauch\
 , dass zuerst die neuverheirateten Bräute über das Feuer springen\, um s
 ich zu reinigen und die Geburt des erwarteten Kindes zu weihen. Unfruchtba
 re Frauen brannten mit den Flamen des Festfeuers ihre Röcke\, damit sie g
 eheilt werden und Fruchtbarkeit erlangen.\nDie armenischen Dorfbewohner na
 hmen etwas aus der Asche des Festfeuers mit nach Hause und verstreuten es 
 auf den Dächern des Hauses sowie auf den Feldern und in den Ställen. Sie
  glaubten\, dadurch das Böse von ihren Häusern fern zu halten und hoffte
 n auf ein gutes und ergebnisvolles Jahr.\n\n\nBis heute ist es ein Volksbr
 auch\, aus Anlass des Dyarnentaratsch-Festes die Neuverheirateten zu besuc
 hen. Die Familien der frisch verheirateten Paare verteilen den versammelte
 n Menschen „Aghantz“ (gebratene Weizenkörner und Kichererbsen)\, zu d
 em man auch Rosinen und Wallnüsse sowie weitere Nüsse mischt. Wenn der J
 unge und das Mädchen verlobt sind\, findet dieser Brauch im Hause des Mä
